Conservation Placement. May 2022National Trust, Textile Conservation Studio, Norfolk.  The placement included conservation stitch exercises, museum standard mounting, condition and treatment reports of a variety of objects and the completion of such surface cleaning.
The Erddig coverlet was under treatment whilst I was at the studios, this silk patchwork of embroidery and wholecloth was under treatment and we got to observe the adhesive applications, conservation stitches and aid in the wetbath of the welsh wholecloth.
I was also lucky enough visit a National Trust, Felbrigg Hall, property and assess the site and conditions of a pelmet under conservations later rehanging.
